The Cub Cadet Ultima Z2 42 is a next-generation zero-turn mower built for properties up to 4 acres. Its compact 42-inch AeroForce™ fabricated steel deck provides the cutting capacity needed for larger lawns while remaining manoeuvrable around trees, garden beds and other obstacles. 

Powered by a 21.5HP Kawasaki FR651V V-Twin engine and Dual ZT-2200 transmission, the Z2 42 delivers smooth, responsive control across varied property conditions. Its robust 2-inch square tubular steel frame and 11-gauge fabricated deck are designed for reliable performance and durability.

Comfort has been considered, with a 20-inch high-back bolster seat, a rubberised footrest, ergonomic grips, and a simple dial-operated cutting-height adjustment. The open rear design also provides easier access to the belts and cutting deck when maintenance is required.

With 15 cutting height positions ranging from 25mm to 115mm, electric blade engagement, and true zero-turn manoeuvrability, the Cub Cadet Ultima Z2 42 is a practical choice for homeowners who want to cover larger lawns efficiently without stepping up to a wider machine.
