The DEWALT 28-Ton Hydraulic Log Splitter is designed for high-volume firewood work, combining a Kohler 196cc 6.5HP OHV engine with a heavy-duty hydraulic system to power through tough logs up to 26 inches in length.

With a 28-ton splitting force and a fast 13-second cycle time, it keeps work moving efficiently. The auto-return valve reduces downtime between splits, while the ability to switch between horizontal and vertical operation makes it easier to handle larger or heavier logs without lifting.

A square log cradle helps keep timber stable during operation, improving both speed and safety. Built for practical use, it’s easy to tow between locations with a standard 50mm ball hitch, making it well-suited to larger properties, rural use and firewood preparation.
